How to play
DuelBots is a head-to-head trading game played on real, live Polymarket and Kalshi odds. The prices, strikes and resolutions are genuine; the money is not. Coins are play-money and are never redeemable.
The market page
Every market has its own page. This is where you size up the market and decide whether to put chips on it — nothing is at stake until you press GO.
1The header
Price to beatis the strike — the market's price at the moment the window opened. Whether the price ends above or below it decides the market.
Last is the live price, green above the strike and red below. Resolves in counts down to the close. Markets more than a day out show their resolution date instead of a clock.
The subtitle names the settlement source — Chainlink BTC/USD, CF BRTI, Binance BTC/USDT. That's the venue's own oracle, not ours.
2Timeframes
The same question, asked over several different windows.
A five-minute BTC market doesn't run once — a new one opens every five minutes. Each timeframe here is a separate market with its own window, its own odds and its own order book. Current might resolve in two minutes while the next resolves in seven.
Pick a later timeframe when you want more room to trade. Selecting one just shows you that market — you still choose a buy-in and press GO to actually enter it.
3The chart
The dashed line is the strike. The chart carries roughly 100 previous windows of history, so you can pan back and see how this market usually behaves before committing.
Switch between a line and candlesticks bottom-right. The second toggle swaps the underlying price for the UP ¢ view, which plots the odds themselves — useful when you care more about what the market believes than what the asset costs.
Gridlines are evenly spaced in time and sized to the market's own timeframe, so equal width always means equal duration.
4Live odds
Streamed straight from the source venue.
These are the real books from Polymarket and Kalshi, streamed live — not a simulation and not our own pricing. Both sides are quoted in cents, and the price is the implied probability: 56¢ means the market believes 56%.
One share pays exactly 1 chipif that side wins, so buying at 56¢ risks 56 to make 44. The two sides sum to about 100¢ because they're the same bet from both ends.
No spread. You buy and sell at the same midpoint, so a round trip costs you nothing. There's no house margin baked into the price — the house takes its cut only from the winner's pot, at 5%–10% depending on the margin.
5Buy-in & GO
Pick what to stake, then hit GO. You're matched instantly and the market page becomes your duel page.
Your buy-in is paid in coins and converted into chips for the duel at 100 chips per coin. Chips exist only inside that one duel; coins are what persist in your wallet.
Each duel gets its own URL the moment it starts. You can run several duels on the same market at once — coming back to the market page always shows the market, never an in-progress duel.
What you can trade
Crypto — BTC, ETH and SOL on both platforms. Polymarket runs 5-minute up to daily; Kalshi runs 15-minute, hourly, plus monthly and annual one-touch highs. Markets are listed shortest window first, so the quickest duel is always at the top.
Weather, Mentions and Economyare multi-outcome events — one question with many answers, where you trade YES or NO on any outcome. They have no single strike, so they're scored on the better final stack, and they run until the event itself resolves.
